Charles C. Tutorow, Sr., 77, Edwardsburg, passed to his rest on April 2, 2013 at Elkhart General Hospital, after an illness.

Charles was born December 15, 1935 in South Bend, Ind., and has lived in the Michiana area all of his life.

On Dec. 31, 1955 in Mishawaka, In. he married Margaret A. Fisette and she passed on Oct. 1, 1993. He is survived by a daughter Antonette (Donald) McNurlis of Michigan City, two sons Charles Tutorow II and David Tutorow both of Edwardsburg. There are 10 grandchildren: Tori Howard, Jesse Howard, Susan Howard, Danille (James) Wade, Charles Howard, John (Marie) Tutorow, Ben (Ashley) Tutorow, Amber Tutorow, Chris Tutorow and Jeffery Tutorow, and 25 great grandchildren.

Charles was a factory worker at Gunite and Bendix. He was a 20 year veteran with United States Navy, having served in Viet Nam. He was a member of the VFW in Cassopolis and Brothers of the 3rd Wheel (Motorcycle). Charles loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends may call at the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, 26863 West Main St., Edwardsburg, on Friday April 5, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. There will be on hour of visitation on Saturday April 6, 2013 from 10 to 11 a.m., then there will be a procession to the Adamsville Cemetery, Edwardsburg, where there  will be a Military Graveside Service with the United States Navy Honor Guard, folding the Flag and playing Taps.

Memorial donations may be made to the Edwardsburg Food Pantry.

Arrangements are by the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg.
