Traffic crash injures four

CASSOPOLIS — Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports his deputies handled a two- car, personal injury crash on Calvin Center Road near Chain Lake Street in Calvin Township at 6:58 p.m. April 27.
Deputies report that one vehicle, driven by 57-year-old Wayne Barber Jr. from Cassopolis, was traveling northbound on Calvin Center Road when a vehicle driven by 52-year-old Delbert Wilson from Dowagiac crossed into his lane.

Barber was taken to South Bend Memorial for treatment of his injuries.  

Wilson; his wife, 52-year-old Michelle Wilson; and daughter, 23-year-old Diane Wilson, were transported to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Seat belts were worn at the time of the crash.
Life Care, Edwardsburg Ambulance, Porter Ambulance and Penn Township Fire assisted deputies at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
