Visiting Shamrocks shutout Bucks 38-0

BUCHANAN — A season of offensive woes continued for the Buchanan Bucks on homecoming night.

Visiting Berrien Springs held the Bucks to minus 38 yards rushing and 18 yards of total offense in a 38-0 win Friday night.

The shutout was the fourth of the season for the 1-6 Bucks.

Berrien Springs (6-1) earned an automatic playoff berth with the victory.

The Shamrocks rushed for 281 yards, led by Danny Vinson, who ran for 170 yards and three touchdowns.

Vinson scored on runs of 70, 50 and five yards.

The Bucks did have 56 yards passing as quarterbacks Gannon Kutemeier, Brandon Rogers and Dedrick Adkerson completed 5-of-16 passes. They threw three interceptions.
