Niles golfers finish third at jamboree

The Niles golf team finished third at the Big 16 West Division Jamboree it hosted at Orchard Hills Monday.

Lakeshore and St. Joseph both shot 170, but the Lancers earned the top spot based on fifth-man scoring. Niles was third with 171.

Lakeshore’s Dan Schilling earned medalist honors as he finished with a 36. Niles’ John Schrader was second at 37 and Sam Clark third at 38.
