Keith and Kali McMorris, of Niles, celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary Sept. 22. They have three children: Makayla, 9; Jaylen, 7; and Kaitlyn, 5.

Max and Donna (Dunlap) Yoder of Niles celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 25, 2012, with the Yoder family at Camp Friedenswald in Union. They were married at the 8th St. Mennonite Church in Goshen, Ind.

They have three daughters: Kelly, Gerry and Jenny. They have nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Max graduated from Livingston College in Salisbury, N.C., and is currently self-employed. Donna is a graduate of New Paris High School, and has worked at Fifth Third Bank in Niles for 41 years. Max and Donna currently reside in Niles.

Meryl (Myers) and Fred Bromley were married Sept. 26, 1942.

One month later, Fred went into the Navy, became a radioman serving first in New Orleans, La., monitoring U-boats in the ocean and Gulf. Later, serving as a radioman in a communications team led by a Commodore convoying our troops to England.

They have four children, Gary of Dowagiac, Judith (Jim) Utrup of Dade City, Fla., Kathryn of Las Vegas and Joyce (John) Howell of Niles. They have eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

They reside in Dowagiac. Fred retired from General Motors as a tool and die designer and Meryl retired when she sold her pallet business. The next years were spent traveling the country in their small motor home, also spending time in Arizona and Florida.

They have been members of the United Methodist Church in Dowagiac for more than 60 years.

They will enjoy a family celebration hosted by their children with all the grandchildren planning to attend.
