The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team discovered a methamphetamine lab in Howard Township Thursday.
During a search of a home on Terminal Road in Niles, detectives located a compromised meth lab, meth components and other evidence.
Two men, 25 and 33, were arrested at the scene on charges including manufacturing methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver, producing hazardous waste and maintaining a drug house.
Both subjects are lodged at the Cass County Jail awaiting arraignment.
The Drug and Laboratory Disposal Company was contacted to dispose of the hazardous waste.
Two children live at the residence on a part-time basis but were not at the residence during the investigation. Cass County Child Protective Services was advised and arrests were made.
