CASSOPOLIS — As the Cass County Fair Board continues to prepare for the 2020 Cass County Fair, its members and are closely monitoring and following the COVID-19 virus guidelines set by state and local officials, the board has extended the possession dates for the following species until May 15: dairy feeder steers, beef feeder steers, beef breeding stock, dairy, goats, horses, sheep and swine.

Fair officials said youth exhibitors also need to be aware the mandatory validations for goat, sheep, beef feeder and dairy feeder have been canceled, but they will be required to go to mycasscountyfair.com and complete the online validation form under the “exhibitor” tab by May 18.  Any exhibitor who does not have access to a computer, smart device or internet should call the fair office at (269) 445-8265 with the information, and someone will assist them in entering the information online.

This validation form is not the possession forms, and it are not the youth registration form to register to exhibit at the fair, offiicals said. All youth will still be required to complete this online fair registration through blue ribbon before midnight on June 17 in order to exhibit at the 2020 Cass County Fair. The link to register is also on the website and will be available the first part of May.

YQCA for youth exhibitors must be completed by July 1 and will have to be done online at YQCA.org.

The 2020 Cass County Fair Book is available on the fair website, and will not be available in a printed format.
