NILES — Clouds parted just in time for the Four Flags Area Apple Festival’s annual grande parade, which stepped off at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. This five-mile parade serves as a community showcase for the greater Niles area, featuring civic organizations, marching bands, community queens, school clubs, businesses, politicians and nonprofit groups from Niles, Buchanan, Cassopolis, Dowagiac, Edwardsburg, Berrien Springs and beyond.
