EDWARDSBURG — Saturday, June 9,  is the date for the Edwardsburg Sports Complex’s Ninth Annual Benefit Golf Scramble.

This year’s golf outing will again be hosted at Four Lakes Country Club in Edwardsburg. Cost to play in this year’s Benefit Golf Scramble is $70 per player or $275 per team, which includes greens fees, carts and lunch.

Last year’s event had 94 golfers helping ESC raise more than $10,000 towards development at the complex. The ESC events committee said it wishes to thank all the sponsors and golfers that supported the 2017 scramble and are looking forward to their support this year.  Anyone wishing to sponsor or donate a prize can visit our website or call the office for more information.

Golfer’s will be playing all 18 holes of the 72-par Four Lakes course and competing in mini-contests such as skins, a putting contest and men’s and women’s divisions in longest drive and closest to the pin. Golfers will be provided in the Four Lakes Clubhouse immediately following play, where winners will be announced and prizes awarded.

The ESC grows every year as the community’s center for sports, recreation and wellness for people of all ages, said officials. ESC has eight fields with two more being developed for the fall of 2019 and excavating and infrastructure are in process on the baseball/softball area of the complex. These developments will increase the complex’s capacity to host more youth sports and larger scale tournaments and community events right here in Edwardsburg.

Not only will it be available for more sports events, but the complex will be hosting four summer concerts, a night at the South Bend Cubs, Beasley soccer camp, the US-12 garage sale, the circus and a fall festival.  For more information, visit the ESC website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and newsletters for further information.
