David Scott Head Sr., 59, of Sturgis, Michigan, passed away on April 23, 2018, in his home. The family of David will announce services to be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Clark Chapel, 405 Center St., Dowagiac.

David was born on May 28, 1958, in Paw Paw, Michigan, to the late Samuel and Jacqueline (Hemminger) Head.

David is survived by his children, Melisa (Jeffery) Cowley of Dowagiac, Daniel Otte of Cassopolis and Donald (Amanda) Ferrier of Buchanan; four grandchildren; sisters, Candy Newell of Buchanan and Patricia Waterson of Dowagiac; and brother, Raymond Ferrier of Dowagiac.

Preceding David in death is a son David Head, Jr., brothers Samuel Head and Donald Ferrier; sister Donna Nash; and step-mother Helen Head.
