Jeff Kuhn, 39, of Niles, formerly of LaPorte, passed away unexpectedly on March 1, 2018, of natural causes.

He was born in Michigan City, Indiana, to Stephen and Jann (Deuitch) Kuhn on April 15, 1978.

After graduating from LaPorte High School, Jeff worked in construction. In Jeff’s spare time he also enjoyed being on the water fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Charity Rose Horton-Kuhn of Niles; his two sons, Christian Kuhn of South Bend, Jackson Kuhn of Niles; his parents, Stephen and Jann (Deuitch) Kuhn of South Bend; his brother Patrick Kuhn of South Bend; two step-daughters; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roger and Faith Horton of Niles; Charity Rose’s siblings, Christopher Horton of Arkansas, Christina Horton-Lott, Dorothy Horton- (Daryl) O’Brien of Niles, Andrea Horton- (Shawn) Cole of Tennessee, Dustin Horton of Alaska, Daniel (Melissa) Horton of Texas, Ashley Horton- (Jeremiah) Dail of Tennessee, Hailey and Alyssa Horton of Niles; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless extended family members.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018, from 6 p.m. 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Niles with Recitation of The Rosary at 7:30 p.m.

Jeff’s family will be having a Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the King Church.
