Behavioral therapist joins Cassopolis Family Clinic network

CASSOPOLIS — A new doctor is in town.

Vicky Merrills, Licensed Master Social Worker, has joined the staff of Cassopolis Family Clinic Network. Merrills, a Michigan native, received her Master of Social Work Degree from Andrews University in Berrien Springs and is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Prior to her employment at CFCN, Merrills was the Assertive Community Treatment Team Coordinator/Leader at Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services of St. Joseph County.

“I am excited to work for CFCN as it embraces the concept of treating the whole person; i.e., to include medical, dental, pharmacological, and behavioral health,” Merrills said. I am excited to work with the organization in expanding behavioral health services to include more substance use disorder services. As a resident of Cass County, I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with the rest of the team to promote compassionate healthcare.”

Merrills will provide behavioral health services at the Cassopolis Family Clinic location. CFC is located at 261 M-62, Cassopolis, and offers primary care, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy and Medicaid/healthcare enrollment services.

CFC is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. For more information or to schedule an appointment please call (269) 445-3874.

Cassopolis Family Clinic Network is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, designated a Federally Qualified Health Center. With locations in Cassopolis and Niles, CFCN provides primary care, behavioral health, obstetrics and gynecology, dental, pharmacy, and healthcare enrollment assistance services for the communities of Cass and southeast Berrien Counties.
