Police investigate possible threat at St. Joseph High School Monday

ST. JOSEPH — Authorities received information about a possible threat at St. Joseph High School Monday afternoon.

An investigation was initiated around 4:30 p.m. and the suspects who were thought to be involved were interviewed. While the investigation is ongoing, it was determined that there was not an immediate threat, according to the St. Joseph Public Safety Department.

Agencies that participated in the investigation include St. Joseph Department of Public Safety, St. Joseph Township Police Department, FBI Task Force, Berrien County Prosecutor’s Office.

The Berrien County Prosecutor’s Office was contacted and at this time there are no charges being sought but the investigation is expected to continue.
