Dowagiac first at Coloma, 7th at league jamboree

COLOMA —The Dowagiac competitive cheer team won the Coloma Invitational on Monday.

Dowagiac finished the competition with 602.46 points to defeat runner-up Coloma, which finished with 545 points.

Bridgman (541.62) and South Haven (489.24) were the fourth and fifth place teams in Division 3.

Hartford won the Division 4 title with 616 points, while Lake Michigan Catholic finished with 590.74 points.

At the Wolverine Conference Jamboree at Edwardsburg on Jan. 10, Dowagiac finished seventh overall.

Paw Paw won the jamboree with 749.90 points, while the host Eddies were sixth with 585.80 points and the Chieftains seventh with 571.46 points.
