JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP — A 23-year-old Cassopolis resident was transported to the hospital Sunday after her vehicle overturned on Dailey Road in Jefferson Township , according to Cass County Sheriff Richard Behnke.

Officers were called to Dailey Road south of Jefferson Center at 12:58 p.m. Sunday after Nicole Miller, 23, lost control of her vehicle. Miller’s vehicle left the roadway and overturned.

Miller was transported to Borgess Hospital in Dowagiac for treatment of her injuries.
Intoxicants were not a factor and seatbelts were worn.

The sheriff’s office continues to investigate the accident.
