U.S. Rep. Fred Upton (R-St. Joseph) took a visit to the Summer My Way camp on Aug. 2. Upton is a representative for the sixth congressional district in Michigan.

Upton talked with the youth and mentors involved in the YMCA led program and spent some time doing activities with the children. 

“I continue to be impressed with the summer  and after school activities in a number of our Michigan school districts this month that I have visited,” Upton said.  “Our local Summer My Way program is a big asset to our community and I was so pleased to visit the program, meet with volunteers, and interact with the kids.”
