Auditions scheduled for Twin City Players’ next performance

ST. JOSEPH —The Twin City Players (TCP) will hold auditions for its next mainstage production of the 2015-2016 season this January.

Auditions for the April production of “To Kill a Mockingbird,” will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14 and Friday, Jan. 15 and at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16.

It is based on the novel by Harper Lee, is dramatized by Christopher Sergel and directed by Niles’ August Garritano.

To “Kill a Mockingbird” offers a variety of roles for 12 men, eight women and several supporting roles.

Three roles call for children/teens between 9 to 14 years old.

Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend.

Actors need only attend one audition session, but are welcome to attend both. Actors will be asked to perform readings from the script.

Auditions will be held at on Twin City Players Campus at 600 W. Glenlord Road, St. Joseph.

Performance dates are April 1-17.

Weekly rehearsals will be held on Sundays from 4 to 7 p.m. and Mondays through Wednesdays from 6 to 9 p.m., plus additional rehearsals during the week prior to opening.
