NEW BUFFALO — Brandon Hatch scored three times as visiting Brandywine routed New Buffalo 42-8 in BCS Athletic Conference football Friday night.

Hatch scored on runs of 2, 7 and 12 yards.

The Bobcats (4-2) outscored the Bison 28-0 in the opening half.

Brandywine also got a pair of touchdowns from Austin Knapp, who caught a 7-yard pass from Corbin Eckenberger and picked up a fumble and returned it 65 yards for a score.

Jeshua Weise scored on a 5-yard run for the Bobcats, who ran for 212 yards against the Bisons.

Brandywine travels to Three Oaks to face River Valley Friday night.
