Brandywine sweeps Bronson to improve to 20-4

BRONSON — The Brandywine baseball team scored 20 runs on 21 hits in sweeping Bronson in a BSC non-divisional doubleheader Thursday.

The Bobcats (20-4) defeated the Vikings 15-0 in five innings and 5-2.

Mark Conrad tossed a two-hitter in the opening game for Brandywine.

The Bobcats had 10 hits, including doubles by Tanner Bourdon and Seth Brown.

In the second game, Joe Covyeou and Austin Balos combined on a two-hitter with Balos picking up the win in relief.

Brandywine finished with 11 hits in the nightcap, including doubles by Hunter Janowiak, Jeshua Wiese and Balos.

The Bobcats will host Centerville in a BSC crossover doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
