Can $20 last forever? Can $20 keep you warm? Can $20 be beautiful? Can $20 be a gift? Can $20 beautify a city? Can $20 invite a visitor? Can $20 foster a legacy? Can $20 benefit generations yet to come?

The answer to each of these questions is yes.

An anonymous donation of a beautiful quilt has been donated to the Dogwood Fine Arts Festival. The hand-stitched, dogwood patterned, queen size quilt was created by the late Beatrice Eggebrecht, a quilting artist from St. Johns, Michigan.

Raffle tickets for this piece of artwork are on sale at the Festival office. Ticket sales will benefit the Sculpture Preservation Fund. This fund assists in the maintenance, cleaning and upkeep of the public sculptures in the city.

Tickets are $20. Only 125 tickets will be sold in this raffle. The quilt is on display at the festival headquarters in the Huntington Bank Building at 207 Commercial St. Tickets can be purchased at the office or by calling (269) 782-1115.
