Buchanan rolls over Riley

Visiting South Bend Riley could not keep pace with the red-hot Buchanan Bucks Tuesday night.

The Bucks (9-1) grabbed a 21-4 first quarter lead en route to a 53-29 non-conference girls basketball victory.

Riley only score four points in the first two quarter and trailed 32-8 at halftime.

Brooke Wesner canned six 3-pointers on her way to a game-high 22 points to lead Buchanan.

The Bucks also got 11 points from Jade Mosier.

Zyriah Flye and Tatiana Alexander both finished with eight points to lead Riley.
