Brandywine holds off White Pigeon 43-41

WHITE PIGEON — Austin Knapp scored a game-high 23 points as Brandywine held off host White Pigeon 43-41 to win the Chiefs’ holiday tournament Tuesday.
The Bobcats (4-2) lead at each of the quarter breaks and were able to fend off a fourth quarter challenge by White Pigeon for the championship.
Brandywine held a 12-10 advantage after one and a 22-18 lead at halftime.
The Bobcats took a 36-27 lead into the final quarter.
Knapp was the only Brandywine player to reach double figures. Zach Schmidt added nine points and Vinny Peel six.
David Miller laced the Chiefs with 14 points. Dylan Sandy added 13.
