Visiting Dowagiac defeated Brandywine 3-1 in non-conference volleyball action Tuesday night.

The Chieftains won the first two sets, 25-22 and 25-22, before falling 33-31 in the third set.

Dowagiac rebounded with a 25-19 in the fourth and final set.

Amanda Badner and Anne Ennesser both had 19 kills for the Chieftains. Badner also had three blocks along with three from Taylor Hulett.

Rachelle Dodge and Makena Bowen each had 10 kills for the Bobcats. Abbey Cole finished with 15 digs and four assists.
