ST. JOSEPH — A sixth-run seventh inning lifted visiting Edwardsburg 8-2 over St. Joseph Monday.

The second game of the non-league doubleheader was halted in the third inning due to rain.

Ali Strycker scattered five hits in earning the win for the Eddies, who improved to 6-1.

Kaylee Ryker, who went 3-for-3, and Layne Stinnett both doubled. Stinnett was 2-for-4.
