STEVENSVILLE — Visiting Niles split a Big 16 West Division doubleheader with Lakeshore Wednesday.

The Vikings behind the hitting and pitching of Tate Brawley took the opening game 11-2.

Lakeshore rallied to win the nightcap 16-2 in five innings.

Brawley struck out nine and hit a home run for Niles in the first game. Taylor Weldy added a double.

The Vikings (3-1, 1-1 West) managed just two hits in the nightcap, which included a double by Weldy.
