BUCHANAN — Maddy Vorrath had three goals as host Buchanan improved to 2-0 with a 4-0 win over Dowagiac Wednesday night.

Vorrath scored two goals in the first half as the Bucks (2-0) grabbed a 2-0 lead.

Vorrath scored the first goal of the second half and then Marrisa Claxton completed the scoring.

Jada Meahl had a pair of assists for Buchanan, which outshot the Chieftains (0-1) 15-7.
