Five Niles churches will be hosting special community Lenten services on Wednesday evenings during Lent. The services at 7 p.m. will be preceded by a light supper and fellowship starting at 6 p.m. All are welcome.

• March 19 — Trinity Episcopal Church, 9 S. Fourth St., Pastor Fran Lane-Lawrence preaching.

• March 26 — St. John’s United Church of Christ, 601 Sycamore St., Pastor Pam Sten preaching.

• April 2 — Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1819 Oak St., Pastor Harry Clark preaching.

• April 9 — St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 219 S. State St., Pastor Wayne Shearer preaching.
