Brandywine third, Dowagiac eighth at Quincy

QUINCY — The Brandywine wrestling team finished third at the Shawn Cockrell Memorial at Quincy Saturday.

Addison won the championship with 188 points, while White Pigeon was second with 121 and the Bobcats third with 120. Dowagiac finished eighth with 72 points.

Kyle Stanage won the lone championship for Brandywine at 215-pounds. Jesse Lochmondy (12) and Brandon Earles (145) were both runners-up.

Charlie Rodriguez (189) and Cory Katterheinrich (285) were both third.

Tristan Howard was second for Dowagiac at 285-pounds, Aubrey Huston (140) and Seth Fear (171) both finished fourth.
