There will be a meeting of those interested in helping with the start up and maintenance of the ice rink at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at the Niles Fire Department, 1345 E. Main Street.

The rink will be located at the AEP property on the east side of Front Street and across from the Wonderland Theater in downtown Niles.

There are approximately 110 pairs of ice skates available to the public at no charge. Organizers are also seeking sponsors, groups, organizations or businesses to help defray some of the expenses.
