CASSOPOLIS — An Edwardsburg teen-ager traveling south on Dailey Road collided with an Illinois woman’s vehicle eastbound on Pine Lake Street in Jefferson Township.

Cass County Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports his deputies handled the personal-injury crash at 11:27 a.m. Aug. 18.

The driver, identified as 16-year-old Dion Bice of Edwardsburg, collided with the second vehicle driven by Cheryl Bouska, 43, of Glenview, Ill.

Both drivers were transported by ambulance to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Edwardsburg Fire and Ambulance and Life Care Ambulance assisted deputies at the scene.

Seat belts were worn at the time of the crash, which remains under investigation.
