Dowagiac City Council May 28 confirmed two appointments recommended by Mayor Don Lyons:

• Appoint former councilman Wayne Comstock to DART, the Dial-A-Ride transportation board, for a term expiring in May 2018.

• Reappoint First Ward Councilwoman Lori Hunt to the Design Review Committee for a term expiring in May 2017.
