THREE RIVERS — The Dowagiac golf team placed all five of its players in the Top 10 at Sauganash Friday to wrap up its Wolverine Conference West Division championship.

The Chieftains, led by medalist Jordan Juday (35) scored 154 as a team. Berrien Springs was second with a 163 and Coloma third with a 171. Edwardsburg was fourth after shooting 174.

Dowagiac finished the West Division race with 34 points, while Coloma was second with 28. The Eddies finished third with 25.

The Chieftains will host the Wolverine Conference Tournament Monday at Hampshire Country Club with their sights set firmly on capturing the league championship as well.

Play is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. for the 18-hole tournament.
