The Brandywine tennis team opened up the Lakeland Conference portion of its schedule with an 8-0 win over visiting Bridgman Monday at Plym Park.

The best match of the day came at No. 1 singles where Jessica Blank of Brandywine edged Molly Meyer 6-4 and 7-6.

Brandywine won all eight flights in straight sets.
