Edwardsburg boys basketball coach Dan Gunn announced his retirement from coaching and teaching at the end of the current school year Tuesday.

Gunn led the Eddies to a 60-46 record over the last five years, including a 15-6 record in 2012-13. Gunn’s career mark is 514-319.

“It has been a pleasure working with coach Gunn over the past five years,” Edwardsburg Athletic Director Kevin Dean said. “He has incredible basketball knowledge and a passion for the game, but more importantly, he is a great guy to have on staff. I thank him for his contributions to the Eddies basketball program and I think we have a great future because of his work with the program.”
