ST. JOSEPH — Berrien County Sheriff’s Department will be accepting applications for marine deputies for the 2013 boating season.

All applications must be delivered in person or postmarked by Jan. 25.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Deputies work approximately 40 hours per week, with weekends and holidays mandatory.

Training will begin in April, with the close of duties shortly after Labor Day.

Applications can be downloaded from the Sheriff’s Department website at www.bcsheriff.org, or picked up from the personnel department at the

County Administration Center, 701 W. Main St., St. Joseph.

All completed applications must be submitted to the personnel department.
