The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a masked man who attempted to rob a Berrien Springs gas station late Tuesday night.

Police say an unknown suspect armed and wearing a mask entered the PriMart at 8736 N. US 31 and demanded money at 11:25 p.m. When employees refused, the suspect left on foot.

The Michigan State Police conducted a canine search of the area.
