EAU CLAIRE — After an entire season and 18 holes of golf, Otsego and Plainwell ended up in a tie for the Wolverine Conference Golf Tournament Thursday.

Otsego was the conference leader after the regular season jamborees were completed. Jamborees count for two-thirds of the final score and the season-ending tournament the final third.

So going into Thursday’s tournament, the points were reset with the Bulldogs holding an 18-16 lead over the Trojans.

Plainwell, which had three golfers finish in the top 10, including medalist Darby Wagner, was able to earn a share of the league championship by winning the tournament and having Otsego finish third.

The Trojans shot 382 at Indian Lake Hills Golf Course, led by Wagner’s 84.

Allegan was second at 389 and Otsego third at 403. Three Rivers and Comstock were fourth and fifth with scores of 412 and 417 respectively.
