Brandywine summer food program starts next week

Brandywine Community Schools is offering a Summer Food Program for children beginning next week.

Free meals will be available to children 18 years of age and younger. Also, persons up to the age of 26 who are enrolled in an educational program for the mentally or physically disabled, which is recognized by a state or local public educational agency, may participate in the program.

The program runs Monday through Aug. 10, at Brandywine Elementary School, 2428 S. 13th St., and will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.
