Southwestern Michigan College will host the third annual Rotary Roundball Shoot Out junior high school girls' basketball tournament Nov. 15, 16.
The tournament, co-sponsored by the Dowagiac Rotary Club and Southwestern Michigan College, will be held at the Zollar Sports Center on SMC's Dowagiac campus.
Each team is guaranteed three games.

Flag football
The Southwestern Michigan College flag football team took part in the Michigan IM Collegiate Flag Football Tournament Oct. 25-26 at Oakland University.
SMC defeated Aquinas, 31-13, in its first game before dropping consecutive games to Lawrence Tech (35-33), UM-Dearborn (29-24) and the University of Detroit (29-13).
SMC tuned up for the event with a 44-36 win over Andrews University last Wednesday.
The team consisted of Matt Scanlon, Ron Spicher, Brian Grabemeyer, Chris Cosey, Ben Meiser and Luke Bowman of Dowagiac, Ryan Isbrecht of Hartford, Kevin DePoy, A.J. Juhaz of Niles, Blake Paturalski of Edwardsburg, Doug George of Buchanan, Bruce Orr of Mishawaka, Ind., and R.J. Jones of Marcellus.
