Paige Breden selected from eight at DMS PAC

Miss CassopolisPaige Nicole Breden, a 17-year-old Ross Beatty High School senior, was crowned Miss Cassopolis 2010 Nov. 7 from eight contestants at the Dowagiac Middle School Performing Arts Center. She will represent Cassopolis at Blossomtime in March.

Theme of the pageant was “Dreaming of the Model Life.” Contestants were asked whether they could imagine themselves being runway models.

Paige, who is 5-foot-6, with blue eyes and brown hair, is the daughter of Eric and Donna Breden.

Paige is involved in National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Spanish Club, SADD, Varsity Club, volleyball and tennis. Her hobbies include singing and scrapbooking, plus she works part-time at Broadway Cafe.

Miss Cassopolis wants to study dentistry at Central Michigan University after graduation.
First Runner-up Brianna Alison Fitzsimons, 18, who is also Miss Congeniality, is the daughter of Sprague and Lisa Fitzsimons of Vandalia. She is a senior at Edwardsburg High School.

Brianna also was named Miss Entrepreneur for raising the most money.

The cheerleader has a straight-A grade average, is president of student council and Penn 4-H and wants to study biology in college.

Second Runner-up Olivia Stewart, 17, is an RBHS senior who is yearbook editor and plays volleyball and softball. She wants to study athletic training and play volleyball at Lake Michigan College near Benton Harbor.

Olivia is the daughter of Gerald and LeAnn Stewart.
