The No. 4-ranked St. Joseph Bears swept the competition on their home court Saturday to claim the Class B District title.
St. Joseph beat Lakeshore 15-12, 16-14 in the title match and will play in the Regional Tournament at Lakeshore High School on Saturday.
Edwardsburg beat Niles 15-11, 5-15, 15-9 in the first match of the tournament.
St. Joseph then beat Coloma 15-1 and 15-8 in the other first-round match.
Lakeshore beat Edwardsburg 15-8, 15-9 in the first semifinal match and St. Joseph beat Berrien Springs 15-2, 15-7 in the other semifinal match.
Niles finishes the season with a record of 18-22-11.
The Bears are now 49-11-3 on the year.
