Oris Richard Aldrich and Marjorie Ekins will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary June 4, 2010. The couple was married June 4, 1950 at Niles Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Greenhoe.

Marjorie graduated from Buchanan High School in 1947. Marjorie worked at Simplicity, Electrovoice and Michigan Power Co. in the Niles office.

Drick graduated from Niles High School in June 1947 after serving in the Navy for 1 1/2 years during the end of World War II. Dick retired from South Bend Bendix after 34 years in March 1985.

The Aldrichs have three children: Darleen (John) Davis, Steven (Maureen) Aldrich and Nancee (Steve) Walter; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one stepgranddaughter; and five step-great-grandchildren.

A gathering with relatives and friends will be held June 5, 2010.
