Niles’ Palmer to lead realtors’ association

NILES -- Donna Palmer, a licensed associate broker with Coldwell Banker Residential Specialist in Niles was installed as the 2004 President of the Southwestern Michigan Association of Realtors and the Real Estate Information System of Southwestern Michigan.
Palmer has been a member of the association since 1989 and holds the professional designations of certified residential specialist, accredited buyer representative and the Graduate Realtors Institute.
She has been active in the association, previously serving on Special Events Committee and serving on and chairing the Equal Opportunity/Housing Needs Committee.
Palmer has served on the Board of Directors since 1996, serving as treasurer and president-elect in 2002 and 2003.
She is active in the Niles community, previously serving on the board for the Safe Shelter and currently serving on the Board for the Greater Niles Community Development Corp. and the Four Flags Area Chamber of Commerce.
She has also been an instructor for the Homeownership Training program sponsored by the Community Development Corp.
