Brawley pours in 22 as Comets rout Davenport, 112-72

The Olivet College men's basketball team defeated non-league foe Davenport University, 112-72, Wednesday night at Reformed Bible College.
The Fighting Comets made 44-of-69 shots from the floor, including 11-of-22 3-pointers. They also connected on 13-of-14 free throws.
Olivet outrebounded the Panthers, 39-28, and made only 10 turnovers.
Senior guard Matt Brawley, a Niles High School graduate, led the way with 22 points as he made seven-of-11 shots from the floor, including five-of-eight from 3-point range.
Junior forward Ronnie Pearson and sophomore forward De'Andre Pruitt chipped in with 17 points apiece.
Pearson also grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
Sophomore center Derek Cox, also a Niles graduate, contributed 10 points and five rebounds.
Olivet is next in action on Saturday when it hosts Concordia University in a non-league game at approximately 3 p.m.
