Berrien sweeps Bobcats

It took 16 innings for Berrien Springs to sweep a Lakeland Conference baseball doubleheader from visiting Brandywine Saturday morning.
The Bobcats suffered losses of 1-0 and 5-4, dropping to 0-10 on the year and 0-4 in conference play. Berrien Springs is 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the league.
Kory Bridges took both losses for the Bobcats, going the distance in the first game and relieving Zach Bennett in the second. He is now 0-4 on the year.
Aaron Holy tripled for Brandywine in the second game.
The Bobcats return to action Tuesday at Edwardsburg.
