Vivian Tharp will celebrate her 100th birthday with a casual gathering hosted by her family at Howard Township Hall, 1400 Barron Lake Rd., Niles, from 2 to 5 p.m. May 27.
She was born May 28, 1912, to Carrie and Thomas Sherburn.
