The Berrien County Youth Fair received a Best of Show award for its communications, and 10-year volunteer Frances Quirk was honored for her service.

The awards were granted druing the 127th annual Michigan Association of Fairs and Exhibitions Convention in Grand Rapids.

The fair was awarded a number of other communications awards including first places for its fairbook, brochure and poster, second place for its home page, third place for advertising specialties and merchandise, fourth places for its newspaper ad and Facebook page and seventh place for its multipage advertising.
