Berrien Regional Education Service Agency’s Special Education Parents Advisory Committee is seeking nominations for the 2012 Excellence in Education Awards.

The award honors those individuals working within a school district who have gone “above and beyond the call of duty” to contribute to the success of a student with an impairment.
Eligible nominees include general/special education teachers, counselors, administrators, ancillary/support staff and school volunteers.

The Special Education Parent Advisory Committee is comprised of two representatives from each school district in Berrien County.  The committee works with Berrien RESA to discuss special education issues and creates an additional link between Berrien RESA’s services and the local school districts.
