Dowagiac duo named Division 2 All-Region

DOWAGIAC — A pair of Dowagiac players moved a step closer to Division 2 Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association All-State honors as they were named all-region.

Dowagiac senior Aubrey Busby and sophomore Bryanna Behnke both earned spots on the all-region team.

Busby, an outfielder, hit .517 on the year with five doubles, a triple, two home runs and 34 RBIs.

Behnke hit .436 with 10 doubles, a triple, a home run and 53 RBIs.
