CHICAGO — The Krush Volleyball 15 National Team captured the Asics Junior National Championship after three days of competition at Chicago’s Navy Pier.

Krush was 9-0 over the three-day tournament.

Last Friday, Krush defeated Top Flight Sigma 25-13, 25-9; Prime Time 25-17, 25-16 and Michia Chicago 27-25, 23-25, 15-13.

Last Saturday, Krush improved to 6-0 by defeating Cyclones 25-13, 25-14; Top Flight Omega 25-9, 25-11 and the Edge 25-13, 25-23.

On the final day of competition, Krush toppled KeAloha 25-20 and 25-15 and Wisconsin Elite 25-21 and 25-10 to advance to the championship match.

Krush defeated Ignite 25-15 and 25-12 to bring home the trophy.

The team is coached by Sarah Hosinski and assistant coaches Joy Kuntz and Jim Kehoe.

The team consists of Samantha Edwards, Sophia Kuntz, Finley Kehoe, Rylie Rosenkranz, Bailey Morris, Isabella Gerard, Lila Latosinski, Ella Laskowski, Neriah Stephans and Olivia Annis.
